Bewitching Midnight: Chapter 5,Dahvie Vanity x Jayy Von Monroe

"Hey, I'll get us drinks," Jayy said to Dahvie, the colourful headed boy took some money out of his pocket and held it out to Jayy. He smirked and pushed Dahvie's hand back, "drinks are on me Dahvie. Wait right here, I'll be right back, okay?" The tall teen stalked off taking big strides with his incredibly long thin legs.

The other stood there playing with his long colourful hair, taking a strand of shocking pink hair and twisting it around his finger. Dahvie's bright eyes darted around taking in the surroundings and observing the people wandering around, talking, laughing, kissing. Dahvie sighed and suddenly a tall guy with tanned skin, snake bites going through his bottom lip, dirty blonde hair and piercing green eyes caught his eye. The guy was walking rather quickly straight towards him, the green eyes boring into Dahvie's skull with a glare. The highschool boy started backing up in fear, his chunky boots caused him to stumble a bit and knock into a wooden wagon behind him. Before he knew it his head was hit against the wagon as the green eyed monster gripped his neck tightly making Dahvie choke and gasp for air. The wide eyed, choking Dahvie tried to push the tanned boy off of him.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" A voice shouted, next thing Dahvie knew he was on the ground coughing violently and taking deep breaths of air. The tall, thin physique of Jayy stood in front of him, his fist clenched, arm stretched out and the blonde holding his jaw in pain. "You okay Dahvie?" Jayy asked kneeling beside the coughing boy.

"Y-yeah, I'm good. Thank you." Dahvie croaked out holding one hand to his throat. He slowly got to his feet with the help of Jayy grasping on his arm.

"What the hell is your problem!? He didn't do anything to you!" The black and red haired teen screamed at the tanned boy on the ground clutching his cheek.

"The question is what the hell is YOUR problem, Monroe?" A female voice spoke just as a long brown haired, tanned girl around the same age as Dahvie came round from the corner of the carnival wagon. "Get up, filth!" She kicked the blonde in the side who quickly rose to his feet. The brunette stood in front of the two teenage boys with her arms crossed over her chest, her hazel eyes glaring at Jayy.  She had a round face with pursed plump lips, her dark brown hair fell over one of her eyes, she wore a shining, flowing white dress that went down to her knees with equally bright white pumps .

"Stay away from Dahvie!" Jayy growled into her face looking down on her.

"Your intentions for his soul are just as bad as mine, filthy blood sucker!" The brunette retorted. "Why would you want him anyway? He's a bag of dirt, a freak!" She spat.

"Don't you dare take him away. You shouldn't be here anyway, you don't want your pretty little face to be torn off do you? What about him huh? Hire him to follow your commands? Jayy spoke getting in her face and baring his teeth revealing sharp canines. Dahvie furrowed his eyebrows looking between the two glaring at each other.

"That's right, this piece of shit is paid to make sure you demons don't touch me while I'm on this mission. That's right little Dahvie, this unholy creature here," she shoved Jayy in the chest with both hands, "is a blood sucking vampire...surprised you didn't notice anything earlier, then again with your stupid little brain you don't notice much." She continued by while flicking Dahvie in the forehead and he reacted by swatting away her hand.

"W-who the hell are you?! Why are you telling me all these stupid things? I'm not a child!" The frustrated and confused Dahvie yelled at the bickering boy and girl. Jayy looked over to his best friend, his eyes softening.

"Get out of here!!" Jayy snarled baring his fangs his eyes suddenly formed dark rings around them and his irises burned a glowing red. Dahvie's eyes widened, he started shaking at the terrifying site. The brunette backed off in fear.

"I'll get Dahvie some day, I'll kill him. If there is one bad egg in the batch then they all are. I'll show them that I am special...Luc! Get us out of here!" She commanded the blonde demon turning her back to the two teenage boys and sauntering off with the demon in disguise at her side.

"Jayy, what the hell is going on and what the hell was she talking about?" The shorter of the two asked his best friend. Jayy took Dahvie's hand in his as he led him to a grassy area where no people were seen. A long line of fairground lights hung around a pergola were normally in the summer roses would grow.  The fairy-lights created a warm glow in the darkness and illuminated the pergola beautifully. The two boys sat on the bench inside, the black haired boy put his head in his hands and sighed. He knew this day would come eventually but he hoped it wouldn't be that soon.

"Dahvie....what she said was true. I know you saw it when I told her to get lost. Dahvie...I-I am a vampire...a demon stranded on earth." Jayy spoke slowly looking at the roof trying to avoid eye-contact with Dahvie.

"I-I...um..." Dahvie stuttered out, lost for words.

"You don't have to say anything Dahvs....I wouldn't dare ever hurt you but you can go if you want." The now revealed vampire said softly sniffling and his blood red eyes watering slightly. He was scared that he would lose his one and only friend.

"No...."

"What?!" Jayy spun his head round to face Dahvie with wide eyes, a single tear running down his cheek.

"I'm not going to leave Jayy, I wouldn't leave you, you're my best friend...a-and...I-I think I'm in love with you..."Dahvie whispered hanging his head, looking at the ground as he twiddled his thumbs.

"D-Dahvie....are you serious?" Jayy asked bewildered.

"Yeah..." Dahvie replied hanging his head even more to hide his face behind his strands of pink, red, orange and black hair. He jumped as he felt long, slender arms wrap around him and pull him closer to the owner.

"This is going to be very complicated and confusing but I have to explain everything. I was hoping to gain your trust even more, so that you would believe that I would never hurt you but..."Jayy sighed as he held Dahvie close in his arms, "but she turned up...."

"Who is she?" Dahvie asked into Jayy's chest as he snuggled into him.

"She's...she's your twin sister..."

"What?" Dahvie jumped up his eyes widening. "B-but Mama...no no no no no, there is no way she's my sister..."

"Shh...calm down Dahvie, that's not even half the story...," Jayy once again wrapped his arms around Dahvie. "Okay you've got to promise me that you won't freak out too much." Dahvie nodded, "...Dahvie, you are not exactly human." The smaller boy in Jayy's arms froze then pulled away from him slowly and looked the vampire straight in the eyes.

"What do mean 'not exactly human'?" He asked Jayy slowly and carefully.

"You are what is known as a fallen angel...you were cast out of heaven but I don't know why...I wasn't able to find that out. Now the only people that actually now why are your sister, Davina, an angel, and those people up there..." Jayy pointed up towards the night sky where the stars shone and glittered, a full moon lighting up the darkness of earth which hung in the cosmos of the never-ending universe.

"So...am I dead...?" Dahvie asked looking into the midnight sky dreamily.

"Well...to answer that I need to tell you more." Jayy sighed staring at the glowing, pale blue moon in the sky. "I knew you in your past life, before I was...turned. You...you died in my arms and...."Jayy was unable to continue as tears came pouring from his eyes as the painful memory flashed before his eyes.

Rain was falling heavily from the dark gray clouds. There were two dark figures in the haze of the rain.

"Dahvie?! Dahvie what happened?" The teenage boy with long black hair and a thin, long face asked the smaller round faced boy lying in his arms. Blood poured out of a deep wound in his chest creating a pool of watered out crimson around them.

"A-an evil creature came a-and...," he coughed, spluttering blood. "J-Jayy, just please d-don't ever forget me. I'll be watching over you...as a spirit...."

"No! No! Dahvie don't...don't leave me...," tears sprung from his eyes but were hidden by the rain.

"I love you Jayy, I always will...," the wounded boy slowly closed his eyes as his heart slowed and came to a stop.

"Jayy? Are you alright?" A sweet voice called in concern. The vampire was brought back into present day to find his cheeks wet and the sleeves of his black shirt soaked with fallen tears. He pulled Dahvie close to him a clutched onto him afraid that if he let go he would lose him again.

"I don't want you to leave me again." Jayy cried into Dahvie's colourful hair. Dahvie wrapped his arms around Jayy and held onto him for a few minutes before the vampire calmed down again.

"H-how did I die?" He asked carefully not to set Jayy off again.

"Evil spirits, demons, that haunt a person's mind. They eventually become real as they feed off of fear. They began to exist and killed you but thankfully your soul escaped their grasp. But they seem incredibly attached to you Dahvie. When you were cast out of heaven and fell to earth I found you but you had lost any memory of your past life and life in heaven. I couldn't take you in so I found Tara Torres, she was kind enough to take you in, look after you and love you. I managed to give you new memories, you growing up with your mother. The demons have found you again though, they want you and for some reason they won't give up until they get what want..."

"Me. They want me...but why?" Dahvie questioned quietly. Jayy took Dahvie's hands and held them gently with his own.

"You are pure....so pure, you have no hatred inside of you but they want to take that away from you...," Jayy whispered as he stroked Dahvie's hand gently with his thumb.

"Jayy....what was I to you...you know...before I died?" The fallen angel softly asked the vampire.

"I think this will answer your question..." the vampire whispered as he leant in towards Dahvie, Jayy tenderly pressed his lips onto the angel's. He left a few pecks then a few seconds later Dahvie began to kiss back, the smaller of the two wrapped his arms around Jayy. While Jayy ran his fingers through Dahvie's colourful locks of hair. After a while they pulled away from each other and Jayy rested his forehead against Dahvie's, both grinning with happiness. "You know, you died in my arms 121 years ago but I never forgot you my love." Jayy reached into his shirt and pulled out the chain hanging on his neck that had the locket that he was searching for when they met or more like were reunited. Carefully Jayy opened it revealing two black and white photographs, one of a teenage boy with a slender pale face, defined cheek bones, long black hair swept over to one side in a side parting. The second photograph was of a boy round about the same age with long dark hair with a swooping fringe, a perfect round face, pale plump lips and stunning, shining big eyes.

"Are those photographs of...us?" Dahvie asked looking over at Jayy.

"Yeah," Jayy chuckled slightly looking at the photo, "it was taken in 1889..."

"Woah....that long ago huh?" Dahvie laughed a little.

"I missed having you as mine...," Jayy smiled showing his fangs, he placed a few soft kisses on Dahvie's jaw making the fallen angel giggle. "You are so beautiful Dahvie...," Jayy whispered in Dahvie's ear while caressing his cheek. Dahvie cupped the vampire's cheek and leaned in to steal a kiss, their lips moving together in perfect harmony. He pulled back to take a breath.

"This moment is perfect, Jayy Von Monroe...you've got me bewitched..." Dahvie smiled and giggled slightly at his cheesy line but it was true.
Well Jayy is a vampire, Dahvie is a fallen angel. Why was Dahvie cast out of heaven? Why does Davina want to kill Dahvie?
